Crooked Creek Park is a quiet Bay County park on Titi Road in West Bay, where a short wooden pier zigzags to a small fishing deck over Crooked Creek, a brackish tidal creek winding through salt marsh into West Bay. When the pier opened in 2015 a county parks worker called the creek one of the hottest redfish and speckled trout spots around, with saltwater fish crowding in over winter; flounder and black drum turn up too, and freshwater fish such as bass come down on the falling tide. Live shrimp under a cork, a soft plastic bumped along the bottom or cut mullet for reds covers most of it. Tides are small and usually once a day, and the incoming tide from West Bay brings the saltwater fish. The park is open dawn to dusk, there are no restrooms, and boats use the ramp beside the pier.
