Dania Beach Pier Fishing

Fee to fish: Small fee to sightsee or fish the pier (checked Sep 27, 2026)

Dania Beach Pier is the City of Dania Beach's ocean fishing pier at Ocean Park Beach, a few miles south of Port Everglades, and one of only three fishing piers in Broward County. It reaches well out into clear Atlantic water where Spanish mackerel, bluefish and blue runners run in winter, pompano work the surf trough and kingfish pass the end in spring and fall. Snook and tarpon cruise the beach in the warm months. The pier concession sells bait, tackle, snacks and drinks and rents rods, two restaurants stand in the park, and small sightseeing and fishing fees apply. The pier's rule list is strict: no cast nets, treble hooks, kite fishing or shark fishing. The beach and its parking close from midnight to 5 a.m. Watch for rip currents and summer lightning.
