Little Hickory Island Beach Park, also called Bonita Beach Access #10, is a small Lee County beach park at the north end of Bonita Beach, about half a mile south along the sand from Big Hickory Pass, the tidal cut between Little Hickory and Big Hickory islands. That combination of open Gulf beach and moving pass water is why anglers come: snook along the beach and the pass edge in summer, pompano, whiting and Spanish mackerel from fall to spring, and redfish, trout, flounder and jacks around the pass. Fish the moving tide with live shrimp, sand fleas or jigs. Since September 8, 2026 the park's parking lot and amenities have been closed for Hurricane Ian repairs, but the beach stays open on foot. Watch the current in the pass, stingrays and summer lightning.
