Seagull Park is a small Brevard County beach park on State Road A1A in South Patrick Shores, at the north end of the Satellite Beach area, and the county describes it as popular for surfing and surf fishing. A wooden crossover winds through sea grapes to an open Atlantic beach with no lifeguard stand, so an angler has room to spread out. Whiting and pompano are the cooler-month targets, bluefish and black drum join them in winter, Spanish mackerel pass in spring and fall, and snook, croaker and the fall mullet run fill the warm months. Sand fleas, clams and shrimp on a two-hook rig are the standard baits. Tides run a few feet twice a day. The lot holds only about 15 cars and there are no restrooms, just two shelters and an outdoor shower. Rip currents and lightning are the hazards.
