Oslo Dock Fishing

Oslo Dock is a small Indian River County park at the lagoon end of 9th Street SE in Oslo, just south of Vero Beach, where the road ends at a small concrete launch on the Indian River Lagoon beside the 298-acre Oslo Riverfront Conservation Area. The county names snook, redfish, spotted seatrout, sheepshead and mangrove snapper as the fish here, and the mangroves and seagrass beds around it make it a quiet place to fish live shrimp under a cork or cast soft plastics along the grass, from the shore or a kayak. Spring and fall bring the most action, winter adds sheepshead and black drum, and summer fishes best at dawn. Tides are small this far into the lagoon, so wind and moving water matter more. The county lists it as open 24 hours with parking and no other facilities. Watch for manatees, lightning and boats at the launch.
