Bob Graham Beach Fishing

Bob Graham Beach is a Martin County beach access at 3225 NE Ocean Boulevard on Hutchinson Island, about 0.7 mile south of Jensen Beach, and the county tourism office calls it an undisturbed, undeveloped stretch of sand with good fishing. A long paved lot sits just off A1A behind a screen of trees, and a boardwalk crosses the dune from its south end. Pompano and whiting are the cool-season staples, bluefish and Spanish mackerel follow the winter bait, and snook, jacks and tarpon chase mullet in the fall. Martin County keeps its beach accesses open around the clock, so dawn, dusk and night sessions are all possible. There are no lifeguards or restrooms, the tides turn twice a day, and rip currents and summer lightning are the dangers to plan around.
