Best fishing spots in Point Clear

Point Clear lies between two Eastern Shore piers. The Fairhope Municipal Pier, about 3 miles north, is a long, free concrete pier over Mobile Bay with restrooms, a marina and a restaurant at its foot, and it suits speckled trout, croaker, white trout, redfish and flounder.

Mullet Point Park, about 5 miles south on County Road 1, is a quiet county park with a short pier and a ramp; the county does not list fishing there, so read the signs. The Weeks Bay Reserve Fishing Pier, about 7 miles southeast at the mouth of the Fish River, is a daylight pier where flounder, redfish and trout follow the salt.
