Clam Pass Park Fishing

6.2· Inlet · Naples, FL

Free: No entry fee; visitors without a county beach permit pay to park (checked Sep 27, 2026)

Clam Pass Park is a Collier County beach park in Naples reached by a three-quarter-mile boardwalk, with a free tram, through mangroves to a quiet Gulf beach beside the small tidal Clam Pass. While the Naples Pier is closed for its rebuild, it is one of the handier shore options in north Naples. Fish the pass mouth and the beach to either side for snook through the warm months, with mangrove snapper, redfish, trout, sheepshead, pompano, jacks and ladyfish also around. Moving tide through the pass is everything. The park is open 8 a.m. to sunset, visitors without a Collier County beach permit pay to park, and the county lists restrooms and a restaurant. County code bans shark fishing and chumming from the beach, and people swim and float in the pass, so fish its edges.
