Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park Fishing

Fee to fish: State park entrance fee per vehicle (checked Sep 27, 2026)

Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park is a mile of protected Gulf beach north of Naples, ending at Wiggins Pass, where the Cocohatchee River and its mangrove bays drain to the Gulf. The park lets anglers fish the northern end past the double red flags to the pass, and off the dock at the boat launch: snook, redfish and spotted seatrout on the tide, with pompano and whiting in the surf, sheepshead in winter and mangrove snapper, jacks and Spanish mackerel in season. The outgoing tide at the pass fishes best. The park is open 8 a.m. to sunset for $6 per vehicle, with temporary restrooms and no drinking water; a maintenance dredge of Wiggins Pass began in late September 2026, with equipment on the beach and parking lot four closing at times. Treat the pass current and boat traffic with respect.
