Juno Park is a Palm Beach County community park on Juno Road in Juno Beach, facing the Intracoastal Waterway along about 1,150 feet of shoreline, with a single boat ramp, restrooms and picnic areas with grills. Do not confuse it with Juno Beach Park, the oceanfront park with the pier: this one is on the Intracoastal, not the beach. Shore anglers work the waterway edges for snook and mangrove snapper while the water is warm, turn to sheepshead and black drum in winter, and meet jacks and ladyfish busting bait whenever the tide runs. Early and late are the times to go, with live shrimp, small jigs or swimbaits, plus fiddler crabs for the sheepshead. Hours are sunrise to sunset, and the county lists no parking fee for cars. Stay clear of the boat ramp, and take the heat and summer lightning seriously.
