Loggerhead Park Fishing

6.3· Beach · Juno Beach, FL

Free: Free entry and parking (checked Sep 27, 2026)

Loggerhead Park is a free Palm Beach County beach park on U.S. 1 in Juno Beach, home to the Loggerhead Marinelife Center, with a guarded swimming beach and open sand either side of it. The Juno Beach Pier stands a little to the north, so the park lets you fish that same stretch of coast from the sand, with no pier ticket to buy. Keep outside the swimming area and target pompano, whiting and bluefish when the weather cools; snook, jacks and Spanish mackerel arrive with the moving bait, and the fall mullet run is the busiest spell of the year. Sand fleas, clam or shrimp on a rising tide early in the day are the standard approach, with a bucktail thrown at dawn for snook. Restrooms and outdoor showers are on site. Be alert for rip currents, summer lightning and marked sea turtle nests.
