Santa Clara Regional Beach Access Fishing

6.5· Beach · Walton County, FL

Free: No fee listed for this beach lot (checked Sep 27, 2026)

Santa Clara Regional Beach Access is Walton County's lifeguarded access in Seagrove, reached from Scenic 30A by Bramble Grove Place east of Seaside, with a lot, ADA restrooms, a water fountain, an ADA boardwalk down the dune and beach wheelchairs in season. For anglers it is an easy door onto the eastern end of the 30A surf: pompano and Gulf whiting run the first trough in spring and fall, redfish ride the outer bar as the mullet move in autumn, and Spanish mackerel, bluefish, ladyfish and jacks hit the bait through the warm months. Sand fleas or shrimp on a two-hook rig take the bottom feeders, and a fast spoon takes the rest. Swimmers fill the guarded beach from March to October, so fish the edges of the day. No shark fishing or chumming is allowed from Walton beaches; watch for rips, stingrays and storms.
