Treasure Shores Park is a 20.8-acre Indian River County beach park on A1A, three miles north of the Wabasso Causeway, with an unguarded beach where the county lists fishing among the normal activities. Oaks shade the picnic tables by the lot, making it an all-day base: run two bait rods in sand spikes for pompano and whiting through the cooler months, keep a plug rod for snook on summer mornings, and be ready when the fall mullet migration drags redfish, jacks and tarpon into the wash. Float rigs with sand fleas take the pompano, while a mullet steak or half a crab tempts the bigger fish. The higher half of the tide, which turns twice a day, usually fishes best. Paved parking, restrooms, outdoor showers and an accessible crossover are on site, and the park opens from 7 a.m. to sunset. With no lifeguards, rip currents are yours to watch.
