Harvey E. Oyer Jr. Park, Boynton Beach Fishing
5.6· Pier· Ocean Ridge, FL
Harvey E. Oyer Jr. Park is the City of Boynton Beach's boat-ramp park on the Intracoastal Waterway, directly across from the Boynton Inlet. The city's waterway-parks page lists a fishing pier alongside the ramps and docks, and the park was rebuilt in 2022 with new ramps, docks and fish cleaning stations. A longer public Intracoastal fishing pier has also been planned here, so what stands today is worth checking on arrival. Nearby, the water carries snapper, snook, sheepshead and jacks in the inlet's flow, and visitors have reported anglers fishing from the docks. Fish a moving tide with live shrimp, and keep clear of the ramp lanes. This is a busy launch site, so expect trailers on weekends and boat wakes along the dock edges.
