Magnolia Drive Public Dock Fishing

5.9· Pier · Belleair, FL

Magnolia Drive Public Dock is a small City of Clearwater dock at the end of Magnolia Drive in the Harbor Oaks neighborhood, facing west across Clearwater Harbor, the Intracoastal Waterway between downtown and Clearwater Beach. It has a shaded pavilion, benches and rod holders along its edges, and it is open for fishing from sunrise to sunset. Sheepshead and mangrove snapper hang around the pilings, snook and redfish work the harbor shoreline, and spotted seatrout, jacks and ladyfish move through with the bait. Fish a moving tide with live shrimp, fiddler crabs or a small jig. The dock is quiet and tucked away, but cast nets and fish cleaning are not allowed, and the city lists no parking lot at this residential street end. Leave when summer storms build.
