The Point Cadet Fishing Pier is Biloxi's drive-on pier: a 4,700-foot concrete span built on the line of the old Biloxi Bay bridge, running from Point Cadet at the east end of Howard Avenue out across Biloxi Bay toward Ocean Springs. You can park beside your spot, it has two traffic lanes with ADA sidewalks, turnarounds at the halfway point and the end, overhead lights and portable restrooms. Big black drum are the classic catch, with speckled trout, redfish, sheepshead and white trout around the pilings and Spanish mackerel passing in summer and fall. Bottom fish with crab or shrimp, or work the lit water at night for trout. The bay is shallow in many places, so the deeper channel water near the far end often fishes best. Mind passing cars, and leave at the first thunder.
