Goodland Boating Park is a Collier County boat park on Goodland Bay at the fishing village of Goodland, on the doorstep of the Ten Thousand Islands just east of Marco Island. Most people come to launch boats, but the park's fishing pier puts shore anglers over the bay's tidal water, where mangrove snapper, sheepshead, redfish and snook feed around the structure, trout and black drum move in during the cooler months and ladyfish and jacks chase bait through summer. Fish the moving tide with live shrimp. The park opens sunrise to sunset and has a fish-cleaning station, a covered picnic pavilion and a life-jacket loan program; its ship store is temporarily closed, so bring bait. The nearby Goodland Bridge is under repair into 2027. Expect busy boat traffic on weekend mornings, biting bugs at dusk and summer storms.
