Jolley Bridge Fishing

7.0· Bridge · Marco Island, FL

Also called Judge S.S. Jolley Bridge

Free: No fee found to fish under the bridge (checked Sep 27, 2026)

The Judge S.S. Jolley Bridge carries Collier Boulevard over the Marco River onto Marco Island, and the deep, fast channel under it is one of the best big-fish spots a shore angler can reach in Collier County. Marco Island's city code bans fishing from the bridge itself, its sidewalks, approaches and landings, and from underneath it, except in the areas approved for fishing under the bridge, so fish only there. Snook, redfish, mangrove snapper, sheepshead and jacks feed around the pilings, sharks cruise the channel, and goliath grouper live under the spans. Fish the moving tide with live pinfish or shrimp and heavy leader. Parking is limited. The current is strong, boat traffic heavy and the rookery islands nearby are off limits.
