6.3· Pier· Palm Coast, FL

Long Creek Nature Preserve is a nine-acre City of Palm Coast preserve at 1050 Palm Harbor Parkway on Long Creek and the College Waterway, a brackish creek and canal system connected to the Intracoastal. The city lists fishing among its activities, and the preserve has a fishing pier, a floating dock, boardwalks and shell trails. Expect redfish, seatrout and sheepshead around the pier and docks in the cooler months, with snook, mangrove snapper, jacks and ladyfish more likely in the warm months and baitfish all year. Fish a moving tide with live shrimp on light tackle. The preserve is open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The east-side kayak launch and dock have been closed for damage since March 2025, so check the city before you go.
