Also called Betty Steflik Memorial Preserve

Free: No entry fee at either the launch or the preserve (checked Sep 27, 2026)

The Moody Boat Launch and the Betty Steflik Memorial Preserve sit side by side on the east bank of the Intracoastal Waterway in Flagler Beach, just south of State Road 100. Flagler County lists a fishing pier here, and a raised boardwalk crosses the salt marsh of the 320-acre preserve. The waterway holds redfish, seatrout, black drum, flounder and sheepshead, with snook and jacks in the warmer months. Fish live shrimp under a cork along the marsh edge, or shrimp and crab on the bottom near the pier, on moving water. Both the launch and the preserve are open from dawn until 11 p.m., with parking and restrooms. Watch for boats at the launch, summer lightning and mosquitoes at dusk.
