Navarre Beach Fishing Pier

Fee to fish: Daily fishing pass includes license; cheaper walking pass available (checked Sep 27, 2026)

Navarre Beach Fishing Pier is the longest pier in Florida and on the Gulf, 1,545 feet long and 30 feet above the water, running out from Navarre Beach on Santa Rosa Island. Its length puts anglers over deep, clear water for king mackerel, cobia and Spanish mackerel from spring through fall, while pompano, Gulf whiting and redfish work the bars close to shore. Fish clean green water on a moving tide, with live bait off the end and spoons along the rails. The daily fishing pass includes a fishing license, and there is a bait and tackle shop with rod rentals plus a restaurant at the foot. Summer hours run from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. under turtle-friendly lights. County pier rules bar pets, personal lights and sabiki rigs on the end octagon. Watch for lightning, sun and heavy crowds during mackerel runs.
