Shoreline Park Fishing

6.8· Pier · Gulf Breeze, FL

Free: No fee to fish; metered parking, first 30 min free (checked Sep 27, 2026)

Shoreline Park is the City of Gulf Breeze's 155-acre waterfront park on Santa Rosa Sound, and its southern half has a public fishing pier of about 350 feet, a swimming area, trails and a boat ramp. The pier and the grassy shoreline beside it hold speckled trout, redfish, flounder and sheepshead most of the year, white trout in the cooler months, and Spanish mackerel, ladyfish and croaker in summer. Fish live shrimp under a cork along the grass edges or a Carolina rig off the end on a moving tide, early or late in the day. There are restrooms, picnic pavilions and plenty of parking; non-residents pay by the hour to park, and the city lists parking and the launch as sunrise to sunset. The sound is calm, but watch for lightning, boat wakes near the ramp, and stingrays if you wade.
