The Coliseum Pier runs 908 feet into the Mississippi Sound from Beach Boulevard, directly across US 90 from the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in west Biloxi, one of the longest piers on the Harrison County beach. The City of Biloxi rebuilt its substructure, decking and handrails in 2025, added sixteen light poles made for solar lights and put in new benches, and a public restroom stands right beside it. It is a reliable bottom-fishing pier: sheepshead, croaker, white trout, flounder and saltwater catfish take cut bait or shrimp, and Spanish mackerel show up in the fall. Speckled trout and redfish visit the deeper end. The Sound is shallow and often stained here, and the wind does more to the water than the small daily tide. Expect hot, shadeless afternoons in summer and quick thunderstorms.
