The Pascagoula Beach Park Pier is the City of Pascagoula's 1,000-foot fishing pier on the Mississippi Sound, reaching out from 14-acre Beach Park on Beach Boulevard. It reopened on May 22, 2026, after an upgrade that added flow-through decking, new handrails, benches, solar deck lighting and green fish lights for night anglers, and a fish cleaning station. The long reach puts you over deeper Sound water where speckled trout, white trout, croaker and redfish feed, with flounder, sheepshead and black drum around the pilings and Spanish mackerel passing in summer. Shrimp under a cork or on a bottom rig catches most fish, and the lights pull in trout after dark. The park has restrooms, a concession stand, playgrounds and a splash pad. Watch for summer storms and for slick decking at the cleaning station.
