Best fishing spots in Elberta

Elberta's nearest spot is Wolf Creek Park, about 2 miles away, a City of Foley nature park where a boardwalk crosses a wooded swamp to a fishing pier on tidal Wolf Creek. The creek is brackish but usually on the fresh side, so redfish, flounder and croaker share it with bass, bream and catfish; a few days of south wind bring the saltiest water.

Josephine Park Public Access, about 5 miles southeast on Roberts Bayou, is a quiet bank for speckled trout, redfish and fall flounder. County Road 95 Park, also about 5 miles away, overlooks Arnica Bay where trout and reds feed, though it has no facilities at all.
