Best fishing spots in South Pasadena

South Pasadena is only about 1.5 miles from Blind Pass Jetty at Upham Beach, which makes it one of the easiest places on this coast to fit in a quick cast. Snook, redfish, spotted seatrout and Spanish mackerel are the main species there.

John's Pass, about 3.5 miles away, and Pass-a-Grille Jetty, just under 5, both add sheepshead and mangrove snapper to the snook fishing. For a bigger outing, the north Skyway Fishing Pier and Fort De Soto Bay Pier are each around 9 miles off, the first for tarpon and king mackerel, the second for sheepshead and trout.
